Instructions

Copper Guardian is made of 99.99% pure copper that is effective in deactivating germs (microbes) on contact. You can also download the most up to date instructions from www.copperguardian.com

Warning

Do not use Copper Guardian if you have an allergy to metals or Wilson’s disease.

Cold and Flu

If you think you might have a cold, Copper Guardian is designed to help fight microbes incubating in the nose. Use within 2-3 hours of warning signs a cold is starting, like a tickle in the nose or a scratchy throat, and before other symptoms of sniffles, coughing or sneezing occur. Gently guide the rounded tip of the Copper Guardian wand into the nostril as shown. DO NOT insert at an upward angle, so you don’t interfere with your smell receptors, and gently touch your lower sinus cavity. This is the prime incubation spot for respiratory viruses. Slowly rotate the tip at the lower half of the nostril cavity for up to 60 seconds.

Swab the other nostril in the same manner. Use up to 4 times a day as needed until symptoms are gone. The swab process should not cause any pain.

If a cold has already fully developed, do not use Copper Guardian as this could inhibit the body’s natural immune system. For your personal safety, do not use in the nose while in motion, e.g. walking, driving, exercising, etc.

Other Infections

To help with symptom relief, at the first sensation when the tingle of a cold sore on the lip is felt, rub or press the Copper Guardian on the tingly area for 2-4 minutes. Repeat several times over 24 hours and for the following day as needed until symptoms have been alleviated.

Hand Hygiene

Roll Copper Guardian between your hands and fingers to reduce germs on the hands. The copper left on the skin by the rolling action, picks up trace amounts of copper ions that will reduce the population of microbes. A faint smell of metal left on the hands after use is normal. You’ll note Copper Guardian also has a nail cleaning tip.

Cleaning and Care of Copper Guardian

Copper changes colour naturally and develops tarnish in a short time. Any moisture on the copper or in the environment will increase the speed at which Copper Guardian will tarnish. Copper is continually self-sanitising, therefore no matter how discoloured (tarnished) pure copper may look, your Copper Guardian still has the ability to kill bacteria, viruses and fungi.

If desired, the wand can be soaked in white vinegar for a few minutes, to remove tarnish and restore its shiny appearance.

Copper is self-sanitising but lotion, sunscreen or cream on the wand will inhibit the antimicrobial efficiency. Use soap and warm water to clean and wipe dry with a soft cloth or oil-free tissue. Vinegar, hydrogen peroxide or alcohol can also be used as cleaning agents.
Store Copper Guardian in its case when not in use.

Copper Guardian is a personal item like a toothbrush, and sharing is not recommended.
